Cat Invaders Tier Lists

Classes and weapons ranked by how they actually clear waves, not by lobby drip.

Tier List Hub

A Cat Invaders tier list is only useful if it says what the rank is for. Snowman looks absurd in solo splash. Medic looks mandatory in a disorganized 18-player server. A laser cannon looks like a god roll until you realize you skipped food. This hub splits those jobs into two child pages: classes and weapons.

Ranks below are community consensus from wave tutorials, boss VODs, and badge rates — not a leaked OneBed Studio spreadsheet. There is still no public Trello.

How to read the ranks

  • S — first pick for that job. Build around it.
  • A — strong, sometimes better than S in the right lobby.
  • B — works, needs a plan.
  • C — meme, early filler, or starved of upgrades.

Solo S-tiers and co-op S-tiers are allowed to disagree. If they did not, we would only need one table.

Class snapshot

Full write-up: class tier list. Snapshot for people who will not scroll:

  • Snowman — S for solo AoE. The snowball fantasy is the game’s best clear.
  • Medic — S for co-op. Revives beat another Knight.
  • Knight — A when you actually buy armor.
  • Ninja — A/B depending on unlock timing; people grind it, which says something.
  • Alchemist — B+ because it is locked behind day-7 daily, not because the kit is weak.
  • Grenade kits — B, fun, overlap with ranged shop.

Details, counters, and when to ignore the list live on the child page and on player classes.

Weapon snapshot

Full write-up: weapon tier list.

  • Upgraded ranged splash (snowball into later bounces) — S.
  • Yarn / bounce shots — S once you can afford them.
  • Laser cannon — A, expensive, greedy if your base track is empty.
  • Bow — A for range, weaker splash.
  • Grenades — A/B, good clumps, bad single-target bosses.
  • Melee swords / chicken / turkey — C as a main, S as a 200 Gold bootstrap.
  • Food track — not a weapon, still S-tier for staying alive. Buy it.

What we refuse to rank

  • Robux drip and UGC. They do not change Floppa’s lasers.
  • Scripts. Auto-farm is a scripts topic, not a tier.
  • “Max level cat” thumbnail bosses that are just late waves. Use high waves and badges.

How to use this with a real run

  1. Redeem codes so the first S-tier ranged buy is not a 15-wave wait.
  2. Follow Getting Started until the shop makes sense.
  3. Pick one S-tier class for your lobby type.
  4. Follow upgrade priority so you do not C-tier your own S-tier weapon.
  5. If Floppa still deletes you, that is kiting, not the tier list. Open beat Floppa.

Re-rolls after a patch will show up on the updates hub. Until then, damage first, drip second.
