Cat Invaders Golden Weekend

Golden Weekend is the Cat Invaders event that actually changes a run. When OneBed Studio turns it on, combat Gold is x2. The Roblox events rail lists evening starts (windows include Friday 14 August 2026 and Friday 11 September 2026, both 8:00 PM, x2 Gold). It is not a new code. It is not a free class. It is the same shop with a louder wallet.

Use this page with the updates hub, the codes list, and upgrade priority. If you only log in on event nights, still redeem live strings first — they stack with the multiplier because code Gold is a lump sum, not combat income.

What doubles, what does not

Does: Gold from kills and wave clears. Merchant coin boosts become disgusting. Solo splash in high waves hits the 550 and 3,000 breakpoints way earlier.

Does not: Code payouts (25MVISITS is still 250). Daily calendar progress. Badge requirements. Floppa’s HP. Green ground. Your aim assist setting in controls.

If a Discord screenshot says “x2 codes,” someone cannot read. Redeem the same two strings you always redeem.

How to spend the extra Gold

The opener does not change. It just compresses.

1. Redeem codes in the lobby.
2. Melee to ~200 if you are broke, or skip if codes already covered it.
3. Dump into ranged splash until packs die in the spawn. See the weapon tier list.
4. Buy a merchant coin boost on sight — x2 plus a boost is how wave 20 looks like wave 8.
5. Buy regen armor before wave 50 instead of after the first wipe.
6. Food track so the armor is not a costume.
7. Walls last unless the fish is currently being chewed.

Co-op groups should still split jobs from builds. Extra Gold makes six Knights with no Medic even funnier. Call a shop lead. Pause if the server allows it.

Best use of an event window

• New accounts: finish Getting Started and take the Floppa fight the same night.
• Wave farmers: push 100 / 150 during x2, not during a random Tuesday.
• Class shoppers: Engineer, Vampire weapon line, and perk ranks from Version 1.1 are cheaper in time, not in list price. Gold is Gold.
• Script users: auto farm looks cracked on x2 and still carries the same ban risk. If you AFK, use an alt.

Do not experiment with joke melee during Golden Weekend. That is what empty Tuesdays are for.

How to know it is live

• Roblox experience events rail shows Golden Weekend / x2 Gold.
• Group shout or Discord repeats it.
• Your HUD Gold per pack looks wrong in a good way.

If you are unsure, play anyway. A normal night is still Gold. An event night is just faster badges.

After the weekend

Prices do not go on sale. Your leftover Gold stays. The mistake is buying drip at 11:59 because the banner is disappearing. Buy the next ranged rank or sit on the Gold. Cosmetics do not kite lasers.
