Cat Invaders Badges

Welcome is free. Wave 100 is a kit check. Maxwell is a lifestyle.

Badges Tracker

Cat Invaders badges are the honest difficulty curve. Welcome is a freebie. Defeat Floppa is the first real stamp. Wave 150 and the later named cats are where most accounts stop pretending they will “finish the game tonight.” Use this tracker with high waves and how to beat Floppa.

Rates below are community snapshots from public badge counters (they drift). Treat them as order-of-magnitude, not a leaderboard.

Free and early

  • Welcome — you joined. ~84% of players. Not an achievement; it is a door.
  • Beta Tester — 67 people. Closed. You cannot type a code to get it. If a YouTuber sells “beta codes,” they are selling air.

Combat stamps

  • 100 Kills — ~64% win rate among those who try. Happens during the melee bootstrap in Getting Started.
  • 250 Kills — ~50%. You have a ranged weapon or you got carried.
  • 25 Waves — ~46%. Tutorial-complete energy.
  • 50 Waves — ~19%. This is the Floppa neighborhood. Buy regen armor.

Named cats

  • Defeat Floppa — first big encounter. Roughly one in five runs that see him finish the badge (public counters have sat near 20% of attempts, with well over a million awards). Lasers, huge HP, kite off the fish.
  • Defeat El Gato — tanky follow-up, fewer owners than Floppa.
  • Defeat Bongo Cat — billed as the strongest cat at original release. DPS plus puddle check.
  • Defeat King Meowl — later update, sub-1% territory (hundreds of awards versus millions of visits).
  • Defeat Emperor Maxwell — huge crowned cat, almost nobody has it. Bring a Medic friend from builds.

High-wave ladder

  • 100 Waves — the kit check the high-wave guide is written for.
  • 150 Waves — ~1.6% on older counters, tens of thousands of awards. Range maxed, food maxed, walls actually useful.
  • 175 Waves — ~0.2%, a few thousand awards.
  • Higher stamps (200 / 500 / 1000 if they exist on your account page) are collector goals, not session plans.

Checkpoints from Version 1.1 make some of these less punishing. They do not make Maxwell cheap.

How to pick a session goal

  • First hour: Welcome (automatic), 100 kills, 25 waves, both codes.
  • First night: Defeat Floppa. If you wipe, you still learned the shop.
  • First week: 50 waves clean, then 100 waves during Golden Weekend.
  • Collector: El Gato, then Bongo, then stop lying to yourself about Maxwell until your class is actually built.

Solo is the cleanest badge farm for wave numbers. Co-op is the cleanest farm for “someone else kites while I hold fish.” Scripts can farm kill badges and still fail named cats — see auto farm.

What is not a badge

Alchemist is a daily unlock, not a badge. Engineer is a class. Golden Weekend is an event. 25MVISITS is a code. People mix these in chat. Do not.

If a badge disappears from your list after a universe rename (Cat Invaders / Cat Invasion), it is the same place ID. Rejoin. If it is still gone, that is a Roblox inventory quirk, not a new secret cat.

Track this page when OneBed Studio adds a boss. New cats in Version 1.1 may ship new stamps; we will add rows when the badge exists, not when a thumbnail teases one. For live combat advice, stay on Guides rather than hunting a 0.0% rarity tag.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common Cat Invaders questions.

What is the first real Cat Invaders badge?

Defeat Floppa. Welcome is automatic. 100 Kills happens while you learn melee.

Can I still get Beta Tester?

No. 67 awards, closed. Ignore anyone selling a beta code.

Is wave 100 a good goal?

Yes. It is the first stamp that means your shop and kite both work.

Do checkpoints make badges easier?

They make wipes cheaper. Boss HP and lasers did not get nicer.
